Renault R4 & Renault Clio... wreck's :)
« on: January 26, 2014, 02:31:26 PM »
Today I found 2 very interesting wreck's..
The first one is Renault R4 and the second one is Renault Clio..
This two cars are without interior, seats, glasses and engine.. there is only the "shell" of the car..
Next time when the water will be cleaner i will get camera to film it..
It's a good habitat for fishes like sea basses, conger eel and lobsters!  Depth is about 12-13 meters..

My 1st ex-wife's parents had a car similar to one of those. I can understand why it's where it is.

As always, an interesting post. Looking forward to your next.

Hi Peter

You seem to live in a very interesting area for divers.

:) :)
In my earea there is only "mud".. if you sunk some object like wooden or concrete boat you can quickly get a real "hotspot" for fishing..
I think some spearos from my city sunk this two carss but with humminbird side imaging nothing can escape ;)

I have also found some pipes yesterday and went down to see what is it.. I have found 4 conger eels  all big inside pipes and some other fishes...
Next time i will get one of them..

Your SI shots with photo's and descriptions are a great learning tool for all of us!  Thanks for taking the time and DO keep them coming, always look forward to your post.

You spoke of all the mud.  How high are you having to go on Sen. to get cleaner images or is this a problem at all due to the shallower water vs deep?
Tell them I've gone fishing!

We had a couple good "wrecks" here in Lake Ouachita, AR.  One a school bus and the other a VW Rabbit.  Somebody stole the bus a couple years ago.  It was in about 30' of water and was a fun scuba dive. No local divers will admit to the theft and that is something they would brag about!   I haven't tried viewing the VW with si yet, but will make it a point my next trip out.
A bad day on the lake is still better than a good day at work!
