It's nothing hard to achieve.. To pick bottom signal in 100-200 kHz signal in 200m of water is easy.
The DownImaging part is just a differently shaped transducer..

But the spatial resolution of your sonar beam in 100kHz signal will be poor.. You won't obtain "HB" quality images with this setup, and at 200m depth, the angle of the beam will lead almost useless pictures.

To have a descent angle of sonar beam at 100-200 kHz, you would need a very long transducer, like a meter long.

Just check the LSS2 tranducer which is already a beast at 455 kHz.. quadruple that size for 107 kHz

Wide Scan (Down Imaging) by Kondex (Honda JP) working 400 Khz in 200 watts RMS.

Transducer Wide Scan: http://sv72.wadax.ne.jp/~honda-el-co-jp/ufile/image/4327.gif

2D working 107 Khz (model HE-840F) or 200 Khz (model HE-820) in 200 watts RMS.

 ;)

With a transducer that small, you will not have a good results!

From the specs and the transducer dimensions it seems as if the Hondex system has about the same performance characteristics as the HB HDsi systems. Resolution and depth performance will not be better or worse than with a HB. I can't see any option for recording, though. I think it's interesting too learn that other than HB and the L-brand presents sidescan systems.

It is nice that there's another player in the game.
Systems will improve, and prices will drop.
It can only help the consumer.
