Title: SI transducer mounting to jackplate????

What is needed? Can I Use the bracket that came with unit and drill holes in the jackplate and use ss bolts to mount the bracket to jackplate?

let me help you here--take a look at the photos below

As you can see from the photos that is a custom made L- Bracket from a friend of mine that is the owner of Transducer Shield and Saver--his name is Scap and his wifes name is Shirley.  Tell em I sent ya

Below the custom made bracket is the Transducer Saver which will protect the unit from damage.  Also no cavatation with this setup either.
