Your unit is set for North Up in the Navigation Menu. IF you have it set to Course Up, the map will rotate to the direction you are going.

Read your operating instructions.

Never mind, I read the manual and it states that the Chart Orientation setting does not apply in the Birdseye View, just the mapping view.
When you use that feature again and it does the same, push the "Exit" button. You can rotate the view with the 4-way key and if you do, you have to "Exit" to cease that function. You may have accidently hit the down arrow on the 4-way and made the view look backwards.
Read about the use of the Birds Eye view in your CD instructions.
I don't use that view and have it turned off in my "Views" tab.
