If I'm trolling with si and di on screen and locate brush pile 150 ft out can I move cursor to the brush pile and mark waypoint?

yes you can, if you move your 4 way cursor any direction it will stop the chart. move your cursor over to the brush pile and click 'mark'......and it will then officially be marked. you can't get much sweeter than that.

When marking waypoints out to the sides on the SI view....

I have found my waypoints to be more accurate by marking the exact point on the image where the structure touches the bottom...
