997 mounted to an I-Pilot trolling motor
« on: May 25, 2010, 08:00:00 PM »
I recently had my 997 moved up front and mounted to my I-Pilot.  This unit is linked through the interlink to my new 998SI.  I'm experiencing two issues:

1. The 997 goes haywire the second the trolling motor goes into action.

2. Once I pull the trolling motor out of the water and shut the depth finder off, the 998 won't let me mark waypoints unless I turn the unit off/on.
