Low Voltage
« on: January 27, 2013, 02:10:35 PM »
Hello,
I've been playing with the 798 I just purchased using a
PC3 Kit.
My question is will the unit power off when the batteries run down too far?
I don't want to damage the unit by running it with not enough juice.

Yes, it will power down or just shut off when the power isn't enough.

However it might start acting flaky before that.... Also if you are using rechargeable batteries for power it could possibly draw them down far enough to damage them.....

Just set your unit to display input voltage..... Then you know where the batteries are at under load.... ;)
