How do I know whether the transducer I have is 1000 RMS or 8000 PTP?

The only transducer listed that will utilize the 8000PTP is the :
XTH 9 DB 35 KW T
That transducer is a bronze thru-hull (not shoot-thru)

You can check the transducer applications on the Hummimbird web site in the transducer list.

I think that the 8000 is also for the 2d and not SI.
