Found out one of my 999's needs the fix. Going to send it in today. Luckily the water is still nice and hard. On average how long does it take to get repaired and back to me?

It took me 3 work days down, 1 to 2 days in repair and 3 work days return.

Thanks. As long as I get it back in a couple of weeks I should be good to go come soft water.

To speed things along, be sure to call into the Humminbird Customer Service folks (1-800-633-1468) and set up the service with them.  That way there will be no delays in case you forgot to include any information with the unit.  Also, you can always pay for faster shipping as the units are normally in shipping for a longer time than they are actually in the Service Center.

Thanks for the info. I shipped it yesterday thru FedEX. HB paid for the shipping.
