Title: Firmware updates

When you update the firmware do you need to start with the next update or can you just update by using the latest?

eg 798cihd 5.410 to 5.500 to 5.590 ...............

Or 5.410 directly to 6.250

Also is there any problem to updating 798ciX hd with these updates

Just update to the latest and you'll be fine.

If you are not registered on  HB you can get the downloads here on the forum under downloads.
And select your unit..

The one think that is nice about the updates is that you can install any of the updates for your unit at anytime.  On this site most of the older updates along with the latest is posted for each of the units.  So if you do not like the latest update for any reason you can reinstall an older version.
