Hello everyone, I was at gander mountain today,looking for a small unit for my spare boat. They had a 597ci display, they did not have the transducer or bracket, when I got it home I tried it on my 386 ci base and found that the exit button and the menu button didn't work on the unit. What can I do with the unit to get it fixed?

If you are not going to take it back by where you bought it to get it swapped out you can contact the Humminbird Customer Resource Center folks at 1-800-633-1468

Thank you Greg, for your support. Your suggestion for the fix on my 1197 unit has been working great, and for this reason I will continue to buy humminbird products. I will call to see what they suggest for repair on the 597 unit.
