Hi , Can anyone help me with this interference ? I have done the following fault finding and made the following observations
Connected a dedicated sounder battery
Tried different transducers
interference occurs in and out of the water
interference reduces with lower sensitivity (picture was taken with sensitivity at 10)
It is only a problem on the port side
tried without outboard running
disconnected GPS antenna.
Transducer has a clear shot without any obstructions
I have ordered a Y cable and second transducer to have port and starboard transducer
Anything else I should try related to the install before I send it away for inspection?
Thanks Ben

Ben,
Was that picture taken while the unit was on the water?
Do you get any Right Si sonar at all?
How about the 2D sonar, does it look okay?
If you have tried different Si transducers with your unit and got the same results, than I am guessing that the problem is in the unit itself.

Hi Greg,
yes that was taken out of the water just to give an example of the problem. The DI and sonar is fine. When Side image is selected in a split screen the interference is still there also.
Looks like I ll have to return it.
Cheers Ben
