Suggested Upgrade: 
Buffering of the data stream
Explanation: 
Buffering of the data stream would eliminate the loss of data in a recording when a waypoint with snapshot is marked and written to the SD card.

This could also be used to permit a live screen to be scrolled backwards some period of time to allow a snapshot of an image that may have been rolling off of the current display when it was noticed.
