898 C new update
I started the update but forgot to go bach to defaults so dumy me tried to stop the update. Now the units starts to load and then shuts down I tried to remove the power for a while but this did not help. Is there any way to correct this with out returning my unit to the factory. Any Help out there??????

Welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums G3fisherman. Sorry that your first post has to be of this nature. Unfortunately there is probably nothing you can do but return the unit to the factory to be reprogrammed. You can try loading an older version of software but this rarely works. You would load the older software just like you would a new version of software. I ca send you the older software version (7.080) if you like.

Thanks for reply Greg but I guess I will have to return the unit because the unit will do nothing but start loading and then start shuting down over and over again. THANKS for the reply.
