Hi Trevor

HB knows no NMEA-in, but may be that it is or will be possible with the new Ethernethub.

I don’t know if your Honda motor has the capability for this or not; but the AS-ETH-NMEA2K NMEA 2000 Adapter can be used for motors that can.  You would need this accessory module and updated software in your 898c Si unit to accomplish this.

Sorry guys I hate to bring up a 2month old thread but Greg I have a question.....   The nmea2k link on the  humminbird Canadian site doesn't work and a site that sells them says they cannot sell to Canada???

Ummm what's going on?   Trying to shop for Christmas and having no luck.  Can't  even access the manuals for it.

I don’t know who runs the Canadian site.  See if ther is a way to contact them from that web site about it (I don’t know that I can access it from within the U.S.).  There may still be some web site issues that they are working through.

As far as not being able to sell them in Canada; I don’t know what is going on there.  It may be that they do not carry them.  You may want to call the Canadian dealer(s) and ask for a special order for one.
