Guys they have started releasing some new software for the Humminbird units on the Humminbird web site.  Not all units will be getting new software and not all of those that do will get all of the new features.  They are not finished with all the new software yet so if your model is not listed below just try and be patient.  When you log into your account, be sure and select the Login button with your mouse cursor.

New software updates for the Side Imaging units are now available on the Humminbird website or in the Download Section on this site.

Thanks for the latest software/firmware release! Is waypoint management still on the list of improvements we will see at some point? It seems like both the software/firmware and HumminbirdPC need to be modified to implement it.

Yes the Waypoint Management changes are still coming but I don’t know when they will be here for the units.  I think that they are planning on making these same changes to HumminbirdPC but I don’t know when that will be either.

I'd like to know what size SD card is needed to download the DI program into my 1197C.

The file is just under 4MB in size (1MB is smaller than 1GB) so probably any sized SD card will work.  .  I don’t know if they made SD cards that small.

Do the LakeMaster-Humminbird mapping cards work in the 797cSi?

 LakeMaster-Humminbird mapping cards.

Yes they do.  LakeMaster-Humminbird mapping card capability (and all the special features that go with that combination) are a part of what you just installed from the last update.
