Title: Creating a new Waypoint from sonar recording track
Post by: pasinomocellin on October 30, 2009, 03:54:23 AM
Hi to everybody,
my name is Pasino, I live in Venice, Italy and I'm about to buy a 997c SI.
Now I have a question, is it possible to create a new waypoint while playng back the sonar recording track? I often fish in the crowded shallow waters of the venetian lagoon and this feature could be really usefull for me, as when I drive I have very less time to operate the sonar.
Thanks
Pasino

Hi Pasino,
It's very easy, providing you are reviewing the recording on the Humminbird itself. Press 'mark' to put a waypoint at the top of the screen, or freeze the recording using the cursor, move the cursor to where you want to make the waypoint and then press 'mark'. If you have 'screenshots enabled' you'll also get a picture saved.
Happy hunting,
Kevin
