HELIX 10 SCREEN TURNS PINK INTERMITTENTLY - ANY IDEAS

My HELIX 10 screen turns PINK after being turned on for about 30 minutes and then goes normal for a while and back to Pink. eventually it stays Pink. It will not do it when the unit is out of the boat in simulator mode. The ducer for the 10 is on the transom and I have a HELIX 9 at the bow with no issues connected to the ducer on an ulterra TM. Any ideas why my 10 turns pink?

Interesting for sure  ...

Try Restore Defaults  ...

Then try swapping the head units to see if the pink follows that head unit in the other unit's connection station  ...

I think you must have purchased the special edition in support of cancer cures

It sound to me like you have an LED screen driver issue (intermittent short between the red and blue - with mix giving you - purple) . If it is still under warranty, I would pull the transducer and head unit  off and send it back to Humminbird don't delay.
