Most probably the result of having two yellowfins.  Unless you find it necessary I would rename the old YF or delete it.  what levels of YF are you running???    I will check some more on this.   chuck

No i deleted and reloaded every thing new same thing is happening my converter is 109c the new update brings it up to nov.2008 i think. but if you convert a file and check the box to start playing
when finished converting. The player is the origanal downloaded player that is not updated. The date is like 2006. How do i get the HBSI SONAR CONV. to use my updated yellowFin player when
i check the box to play when done converting.  Thanks Gary

If I am not mistaken, I believe you are supposed to copy over the old .exe with the updated one.

I just checked and in the download there should be a file that says, READ ME FIRST.
Quote
Replace the file YellowFin.exe in the main folder using the one in the folder named "Update V2.0"
The main folder is standard installed in C:\Program files\Imagenex\YellowFin

Hope that helps.  It should fix the problem.
