YES. I didn't take the time to play with the settings much. But here is the proof.

When you took theses screen snapshots, what transducer did you have selected in the ONIX menu system TTF?

Greg  standard onix default . with di and 2d selected. si was off. this wasn't  plug and play  I made an adapter cable. Using the right si pezo pointing down fed to the di pins of the onix plug. 2d is coming from the universal sonar on the trolling motor. and the hdsi is on the trolling motor also.

What prompted this, is the Onix transducers have such a large cable it will not fit the grove in a Terrova trolling motor. running the transducer cable up the groove makes a nice neat install. Plus I already had an xhs 9 hdsi installed. I like the 2d/di combo up front. Minn kota needs to think about this factor in the future when designing trolling motors. I think the images i got with a little adjustment to settings will be  as good as i have seen from the onix hdsi/di transducer. ;D Rickie you were the inspiration to try this.

I like What u have done and understand why. I agree that u can get near the quality di with XHS 9 HDSI 180 T, if u were to rotate it were one si peizo were facing down.I have experimented with this

Thanks Kosmo And Rickie

Here are a couple more from shallow water. I did some comparing of these to a 998 hd and composite DI this time out. these were much better. I was going to take some snapshots on the 998 hd but no sd card The 998 was on the console using an HDSi on the transom and the Onix on the bow trolling motor using an HDSi

Those are definately interesting ...

I wish work would slow down so I could find time to build new cables for my Onix ...

Dang job gets in the way of important experimentation ...!!

I experimented with the XTM 9 Wide Di 20 T yesterday.  Here are the results.  IMO Just as good maybe better than the HDSI!
