Converting Trolling Motor 360 to transom mount
« on: May 02, 2014, 09:43:29 PM »
I am just setting up a new boat for this year. I decided to go with a trolling motor mount 360 but want to make it a transom mount.  The reason is my tunnel hull jon boat has float pods and there is only about 5" of room between the motor and the float pods.  A transom mount if it would even fit would be very tight.  Also I don't have a trolling motor on this boat because it is a catfish boat used specifically for anchoring.

My question is has anyone built a bracket that will pivot or slide to manually deplay a trolling mount 360?  I am looking for design ideas and suggestions.

Thank you
