You cannot connect three units using the InterLink module.  You can only connect two.

Ethernet on the other hand will allow many more units to be linked together – as long as they are all Ethernet capable to begin with.

Sure thing… now how would you like to do that?
#1 – If both 998 units are connected via Ethernet you can just set the second 998 unit to use the GPS Receiver connected to the first 998 unit.
#2 – Connect the GPS Receiver to an AS-SysLink cable.  Each unit will be able to use the same GPS Receiver regardless of whether the other unit is on or not.

Is it possible to connect 2 GPS receivers to the interlink? I have a 997SI at the console with the gps puck at the back near the transducer....and a 858cHD at the bow. I only see one gps input on the interlink unit...Thanks

No it is not fresque93 as there is only the one GPS port on the InterLink.

However, you can connect a GPS Receiver to either or both units and access them through the InterLink (if the unit that the GPS Receiver is connected to is on).  In theory you can have five GPS Receivers connected:
- Unit #1 has an internal GPS Receiver.  Connected to it is an external GPS Receiver.
- Unit #2 also has an internal GPS Receiver.  It also has an external GPS Receiver connected to it.
- The InterLink has an external GPS Receiver connected to it.
You would select the GPS Receiver you want to use through the GPS Override menu.
