858HD DI transducer mounting
« on: April 14, 2013, 10:32:42 PM »
Hello Everyone. I just picked up my boat from the dealer. I had them install my 858c HD DI. Is this mounted correctly? I think its too far to the starboard side. Will this affect the down imaging? Thanks!

Being so far starboard will not affect the DI sonar but since it is also higher up in the water it may affect the units ability to give depth readings while at faster boat speeds.
