Mac user, New owner of HB unit-in need of advice/help
« on: May 17, 2011, 09:09:33 PM »
Hello All,

I am new here, and a soon-to-be owner (it's backordered til Friday) of an 898c SI. I don't have access to any Windows PC's and would very much like to take advantage of the screenshot and recording features on these SWEET MACHINES, but I am having trouble finding any indications of support for Mac users. Is there no version of yellowfin or humviewer or anything for Macs?

Thanks in advance!

NO.....  none is the simple answer....  Unfortunately. Who would want to run windows on a Mac. Cheaper to buy an old windows  laptop. Very disappointing and this is 2011. They are both, HV & YF great programs!!! :(

Grrrr.
Does this mean an inability to download software updates as well?

No just download to your SD card in the Mac. From HB web site. Direct  Safari to download to Sd in preferences. After downloading put SD card into HB after changing HB to default settings and unit will update

Yakattack,
SUPER IMPORTANT  Be sure to change HB unit  to the default settings before and after the HB software updates.
