Topic: 1198 welcome screen blurred

Just got a new 1198 hooked it up looking at maps and paging thru the view screens when unit
shutdown by itself did this a couple times on its own.Screen got bright and it shutdown.
When I started it back up the HB  welcome screen is out of focus. Now it stays out of focus
all the time.Like it is burned Everything else works fine. Going to call HB this AM and send it
in.I am not happy about this.       Gary

This is the second issue I've heard about with 1198 screens.
I know HB modified the screens for better viewing in direct sunlight.
I hope this isn't a trend.

Contacted vender told him my issues and my plans to send my 1198 back to HB he said
send it to  him he would replace it on the spot and pay the shipping.Three cheers to
Brian Leiva at BBG Marine.  I sure feel better now. Great people to deal with.   Gary
