I have found a link on this site to a list of updates for my 798c , now I would like to know where I can get a list of updates for my 788Ci. I am tired of dealing with this shallow water problem. I currently have 4.73. Which one has the improved GPS software and is it the one with shallow water issues?

Call or write to HB Support and ask if they send you a previous version.

We only keep the Side Imaging Updates here on the forum.  There are too many other units to keep up with to keep them all here! 

If you email HB Support service@humminbird.com or Humminird_Greg here on the site, they should be able to email you a previous update.

We can provide the older software if you want it but not sure how far back to go.  Many fishermen are not experiencing the problem at all.  For some that do the 4.510 version helps and for some it doesn’t.  There are older versions but I don’t have anything that says a certain version will work 100% all the time.
