YES ONIX is fully compatible with Solix....it can share MEGA, maps, accessories, waypoints..... just like ONIX when using ethernet and new to be released ONIX software.

it will soon. others will add 1.2 mhz very soon and they have already offered a 16 inch unit for almost 2 years

I'm pretty sure the other companies will have to license the technology for "soon" to happen, or more suits may follow - we'll know in the not too distant future.
