Title: 1199ci hd si side scan intermittently working

My new unit seemed fine for about a week and then the side scan starts to look very distorted for a few seconds then the side scan screen just goes blank..... When I raise the engine, nothing changes but when I rev it in reverse it seem to get a few seconds of distorted data and then back to a blank screen. To me it seem like water intrusion and then cuts out and sometimes for no reason it will just start working again... for a bit.

Does anyone recognize this issue?

Is this issue with no other electrical devices running at the time ... ??

Motor off ... Trolling motor off ...??
