Title: I am selling my HB597. Can new owner register unit for software updates

I am getting ready to sell my HB597(it is listed on my inventory at HB) and am wondering if the new owner can register it with HB and continue to get the software updates?  I am hoping that all I have to do is delete it from my inventory which would make the serial number available for the new owner to use.
