Post by: Muskyslayer96 on May 12, 2013, 02:41:57 PM

Is your 797 a 797c2 Si (external GPS) model or a 797c2i Si (internal GPS) model?
If it is an external GPS model, how is the GPS receiver connected in your system?
What software is the 1158c unit running and did you also update its software or not?

I just saw your other post about connecting the GR50 to your 1158c unit and your 797c2i Si unit.  Try unplugging the InterLink and see if the 797c2i Si unit recognizes and uses its own internal GPS Receiver.  If not; plug the InterLink back in and see if it will see the GR50 GPS Receiver through your 1158c unit (this unit has to be one for this to work).
