Write protected sd card?
« on: March 05, 2010, 02:15:13 PM »
I have a few screencaptures and was practicing with recordings today, and when I went to delete the pngs and the recordings, my card says they are write protected,.

How did the get write protected, and how do I unprotect them so I can delete them?

As long as Im making a post, I also have a few dumb questions on doing recordings.

As far as I can tell, you can only do a recording in the  snap shot and recording view.

How do you select what you want to record?  Si, Di ,gps,  screen etc when you have to be in the snapshot and recording view?

After Ive made a recording, how do I view it other than in my 997?

Thanks.

There is a small switch on the side of the card to turn write protect on and off.

Recordings are turned on in the recording menu, you'll record the done track and si + depth.
Use humviewer to see this at home.

Ypu can make snapshots with the mark button form the active screen, if snapshot in accessoires is enabled

 The switch is turned off.

I tried it both ways, both locked and unlocked, and it wont let me delete the files. >:(

Reddog,
right click the folder or file you want to delete.
Then uncheck the write protection check box. Robert pointed this out to me the other day.

I was able to delete them by changing them from a tile to a thumbnail in the views toolbar.  Hmm.

Thanks.
