ALL SI Models - Ethernet split screen dual sonar
« on: March 11, 2011, 09:45:53 AM »
Model:
ALL SI Models
Suggested Upgrade:
Ethernet split screen dual sonar
Explanation:
I would like to see the Ethernet capability to view 2 sonar sources at once on a split screen.
this would be nice when fishing from the bow and you want to view what the transom transducer is seeing, but not miss  what the Bow transducer is seeing.
A very handy feature when slow trolling and your lures are under the transom, but you want to know when you are going over fish. You would also be able to monitor lure /fish activity.

I agree.

2 more things this would help with:

1.  Fishing partners asking each other, "You marking fish up there?"

2.  When countour trolling crank baits one would get a head start on the breakline by being able to view the bow mount transducer.

Both of these things are do-able now, but it's rather clunky having to access the network menu tab each time.
