Topic: What happend to the 1198

On the Humminbird website they show a 1199 now, what is the difference going to be. The website says available Dec 2014 and doesn't show 1198 anymore do we have to wait over a year for the big screens.

I think that is a misprint.....should be Dec 2013, not 2014......The model is called a 2014 model.

There are some very good deals on 1198's right now since dealers are selling out their stock, getting ready for the new units.  BBG Marine had a very good sale last week.

No-one know all the details for the 1199's yet, but so far it seems that it is mostly a faster processor.....This is needed to support the ethernet accessories being released.

Now I go to the website and there is a 1198 but no 1199 on website don't understand what is going on and the 1199 was going to be cheaper if I read it right.
