Towfish Construction
« on: February 17, 2011, 02:40:16 PM »
Pending a change to our forum to creat a towfish construction gallery area, I would like to ask for the folks who have built a towfish to share with me your drawings and measurements.
I know there are a lot of items in the searchable area but would like to shorten both the time it takes to search and find...and to shorten our learning curve for construction.
Our main interest will be in the 40 to 70 feet depth areas.  We have an electronic store who will help with the cat 5/6 cable and the soldering of this to the transducer so it will be waterproof.
We will be purchasing a new transducer to dedicate to the tow fish so the end cable length will be continous.
If you have information and pictures to share please send to
NCURT100@Gmail.com
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
Chuck

The Towfish Image Gallery is open.  Please use the description area to tell a little bit about how its constructed, materials used, dimensions, etc.
