Title: Not able to change the range in yellowfin
Post by: Teamleader on October 31, 2009, 09:19:11 PM
I made a recording today and had my 997 set to view both sides at 85ft. When I went to view it with the yellowfin software it opened at a range of 300ft and I am not able to change it. How can I view the video at say 60 or 90ft? Check out the attached picture and you can see that it doesn't give me a range option.

Is it possible you started the Recording at a higher Range and changed it after you started recording?  Or started recording at 85 and bumped it up towards the end?  YellowFin will display the max range recorded in any given ping.

You can certainly zoom in, but the resolution may be somewhat pixelated.  YellowFin has a maximum of 1000 data points (or pixels on the image) per ping.

In the help file along with the HBSI Conveter there are some "Optimal" Range settings for playback in YellowFin.

Thanks for the reply. During the recording I didn't make any changes. Back in Feb I made a recording and was able to change the range setting.
