This may be a bit off topic, but I just purchased a new 899ci unit and I get no bodies of water showing up on my unit. Im under the impression that HB includes some sort of native mapset with thier units. Im fishing up in Northern ontario and a sizeable river.

I don’t think that there are many Canadian bodies of water programmed into the unit lock1nout. Could you post some coordinates so someone else with an 899ci HD Si model unit (or 999/1199ci HD Si) to check and see if they have a map or not.
Is this a U.S.A. (domestic) version unit or an International one (899cXi HD Si)?

I'm from Quebec and by default there is no water bodies from Internation units. You need a SD card with maps inside. I use autochart

I buy mine from Edmonton on eBay.
The unit have pretty much most of the US lake inside, if you go on simulator and move arround in the US. you will see many lakes with lots of details.
I use auto chart because it allows me create my custom lake where other brand will never go to and also with higher details. I seriously enjoy this new toy and I fish completly diffirent now.
Every anglers should have MAPS when fishing. It help alot and you become a better one too and you have a toy to play at home after your fishing day ;D

I don’t think that there are any Canadian waters in a domestic version unit. I checked the 998c Si model I have in my office and it did not have anything on the map around those coordinates. The internal maps between these units should be the same.
