Topic: the difference between the RTS windows

Hi guys!
i need some info about the RTS,
what i have heard, the A-scope is a Filtered RTS, which means that what ever changes you do - the RTS will change with it? correct?

Mono, is unfiltered witch means even if you use low sensitivity the RTW will show everything?

Why i ask is because i've recently became extremely interested with the sonar elektroniks and want to learn everything about it!
I'm about to go vertikal fishing for big Swedish lake-trout high up in the mountains, so i've begun "training" on zander(walleye) out in the pelagic and i'm getting there!
go ahead and give me all info and tips you can!
