Topic: 5.7 Update Now Available for 1198

Just saw that the 5.7 update is available for download for my 1198  .  Guess I'll load it up tomorrow and give it a try this weekend.

I have not seen 5.7 for the 1198 on HB's website.

Yep!!!!   It is for the 1198.  Good luck.  Mine works fine other than a slow replay of the recordings.

Curious, do they mention something about any fix that makes the unit compatible with the newer SDHC memory cards (speed classes 10 and UHS-I)?

Is anyone else running one of these faster SDHC memory cards (speed class 10 or UHS-1) in their Si units and experiencing skipping in their recorded sonar data?  If so, please contact me via e-mail.

Im running a Sandisk 4G SDHC card and no problems, but I dont record sonar, just update my units and back up nav data

We use the SanDisk Ultra 2g card.  No problems..

I am too Greg, but on my 1197!  Not only seeing skipping, but recording of extra data beyong the set range.

What speed SDHC card were you using when you made the sonar recordings Robert and does it skip while viewing it on the 1197 unit?
