I have a new Helix 9 Chirp Mega DI GPS G2N (410500-1), my phone is an Android that is using Textra as a messaging app.. The phone is paired with the Helix 9 and indicates that the phone had a call when a call comes in. The messaging icon within the readout box is grayed out and does not show any indications of incoming text when a text comes in. My phone will show text notifications when a text comes in, but I can not seem to determine why a text notification does not show on the Helix 9.  I contacted HB and they said that notification needs to be "turned on", which it is.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I requested help from HB, their reply was to turn on notifications on my phone, which were already turned on. The phone shows a text notification light and does a text msg. buzz.

Problem solved, got a new phone and everything works fine now.
