Did you crank up the sensitivity to demonstrate the problem better?

We are probably going to need pictures of your installation.....from the back and the side.
**Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile**

Welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums slam.

Bob B is right: pics of the transom area of your boat will help us help you here.
If the motor was all the way out of the water there must be something else hanging off of the back of the boat to the left side of the transducer or else the transducer or unit has an internal problem.  If there is nothing obvious to the left of the transducer (we still want to see pics) try taking the transducer off the boat and temporarily mounting it to a pole so that you can hold it down below the level of the boat in the water and rotate it around to see if that ugly line to the left of the centerline in the Si View goes away or not.

Really needed a picture of the left side of your transom as well but it doesn’t look like there is anything over there that would block the Si sonar.  I think this may all be coming from the motor mount reflection.  The only way to know for sure would be to take the transducer off and hang it from a pole so it is under the boat.  Rotate it around and see if that horizontal line in the left Si sonar goes away or not.
