transducer mount

need help on as to where I put my transducer on my pontoon boat I marked one picture the angle runner is center with my mount would this cause a problem with turbulence. Also I tried to put it on the same angle as my boat sits in the water

Yes, the strake on the bottom of the pontoon can cause turbulence that will have air bubbles mixed in with it.  This will cause sonar reading problems.  Possible solutions will be to move the transducer more to the side, lower it down on the water or come up with another mounting location (possibly something customized to your boat and fishing needs).
