another gps question

I bought a new gps antenna for my new boat so I could move my unit from one boat to the other worked fine for the first month but now dont work at all batteries r fully charged and all connections r good still works fine on the other boat so antenna is bad can I send back to humminbird and get new one? or am I just out and need to buy new one....thanks

inshorecatch,

Check the GPS connectors.  Sometimes they can become loose and not make good contact.  Wiggle it around and see if it feels loose.  If so, you can try and slight push the connector pins outward slightly to help with the contact.  Be careful not to bend them too much.

If that doesn't work, I would call Humminbird and they should take care of it.

Thanks its been awhile since I posted this so I orderd a new one last night sheepshead will be pouring into the pass soon I dont have time to wait anymore if I want to be on my spot, guess Ill just eat this one

I am getting ready to install the as360tm . I have the unit and want to be able to quickly move it to another boat. Can you help me with cable routing so I can do this and keep excess cable neat, thanks
