video out on 998
« on: April 16, 2013, 09:01:18 PM »
I'm having problems with the vedio out on my new 998c si (v6.610). I tried it using demo mode and it didn't work... do I have to have a recording to use this feature. If so does anyone have a small sample they can send me via email so I can test this feature? Thanks In Advance.

There is a setting in the menu you have to turn it on with.

Yea I did that, Hooked it up to an old crt type tv and it works... I guess it's not going to work with my new HD Flatscreen.

It should work automatically in demo mode.  You have to turn the video out on for it to work in the other modes. Of course its only coax, so you won't be getting HD quality.

If you were able to get it on your old tv monitor then it should work on the new HD flat screen.  I would check your settings on the flat screen and make sure you have it set on the correct input for where the jacks are connected to.
