front scan with Side imagine ?

but i like to know if is posible to use the side imagine as a front scaner
i tried to run it on the side but not sure of the result

phmadeira, Yes it can be done BUT looks like a bad 1940's radar screen!!

it is hard to say what is what , when you troll the sounder on this side !!

phmadeira, Dont turn the xducer on it's side, just spin it 90' and rotate it from center 90' to each side.

the flat part have to be in front of the boat
so i will use only one side right of left of the transducer
