Failure to save images
« on: May 22, 2012, 11:12:00 AM »
HELP!!! 3 days before warranty expires.  When trying to save pics unit says "failure to save XXX.png". Switched nav card and SD card around. Was able to save 1 image then got the failure message again.  Waypoints save fine. Just not images.

Switching your map (read-only) card and SD card probably
won't do anything.

You may be running out of space on your SD card.
Bring it into your PC, and using Windows Explorer, delete any .BIN files.

You can delete all recordings (In RECORD folder), and all
snapshots (In SNAPSHOT folder) through your unit or using
Explorer.  Copy them to your PC first if they are important.

If that doesn't work, then try reformatting your SD card from your PC.

I would also do a unit reboot before putting the card(s) back in.

Good Luck.
