Topic: HBPC ver 3.2.2 & Latest Version of GoogleEarth (GE)???

Have been using an older version of HBPC (build 3.0.26) along with an older version of GE, which (as I recall) was required to get HBPC to partner up with GE so that when I clicked on the GE icon in HBPC, it would launch the GE program for me to view my waypoints on GE.  The older version of GE I've been using is 4.3.7284.3916 (beta) to remedy that situation, both running on WinXP.

I've just installed the new (3.2.2) version of HBPC on a Win7 OS and before I install the latest version of GE (GE 6), I am wondering if version 3.2.2 of HBPC works with this latest version of GE, or do I still need to run an earlier version of GE to get it  to marry up with the HBPC program?

HBPC  3.2.0 works well with GE 6.0.1.2032 (beta) which I believe is the latest version of GE....  Windows XP.
Don't know about Win7.

Thanks Geoff.  I've uninstalled the old versions of HBPC and GE on my XP machine and then installed HBPC 3.2.2 and GE6... they work great together!

With a new laptop I took delivery on just yesterday, (with fresh and clean system running on Win7) I have now installed the same current versions of HBPC and GE6 and they are working just as well... so, it looks like they're good-to-go on Xp and Win7.

BTW, and if it makes a difference,  the GE6 version I'm currently running is 6.0.2.2074

Thanks Dave, I will update  GE. I have them setup on my old windows laptop as the software is not available for my new Mac UNFORTUNATELY
