Topic: 898c SI Software

I have a 898c SI. I went into H/B PC and installed my card from the finder in the reader and when the info came up , the info was wrong. H/B PC said that I had an 858c SI and had the wrong ser #. So I went to the H/B web site to check my registration and it had 898c SI and the right ser #. I called H/B and am looking foward to what they say.

What version of Humminbird PC are you running?  There is a new version that was released I would assume its a HB PC issue.  You can check the profile text file on your card by opening it up in Notepad.  It should have your unit number in the fields.

Latest HB PC : 12/14/2010 12:00:00 AM - v3.2.0 Resolves a variety of minor issues.
