Helix5 SI GPS won't load

When turned on it says loading and then immediately goes to a rapid flashing white.  Will not turn off without unplugging power.  Help.

1. Remove any map cards and try  ...

2. Try a different fully charged battery  ...

Thanks...  Found a troubleshooting guide and I'll be checking the battery and wiring.
