Title: Error message upon startup..
Post by: Minke on January 26, 2017, 02:04:54 AM
Hi guys!
I´m having a little trouble with my 898c SI..
Upon startup I get the message that there is not enough memory too load all nav data..
I tried too google it but that didn’t help me.. I have checked all my waypoints to see if the names were too long or the time was incorrect but all of them seems fine.
What do I do to fix this problem?

Test...? I`m not sure I know what you mean..?

Remove any SD Cards and power on the unit to see if that error popup goes away ...

(I'm thinking you may have a corrupt SD Card or corrupt mapping card causing the error popup) ...

That would depend on regular SD Card vs mapping card ...

A regular SD Card might have an issue with the Matrix folder and/or contents ... in which case a different SD Card would be needed ...

A mapping card could be corrupt by accidently exporting Nav data to the mapping card ... in which case you would have to call the mapping card company for advice in how to possibly clean the corruption ...

The 1st issue at hand is to determine if the error popup is caused by a corrupt SD Card, a corrupt Waypoint in the unit memory, or some other gremlin we need to track down ...
