Title: 998c si primary unit ethernet to a 959c HD

If I ethernet the 998 as the unit with the (side imaging ducer) to the 959cHD unit, will I get side imaging on the 959 from the 998? The chart on Humminbird's website is confusing.
I have the 998 ethernet with iPilot link and it has the latest software. I found a new in the box 959cHD online, so I know I will need to update the software on it.

Sharing is came with software updates to the 98 series ..... You should be able to do this.

If the sharing was from a 999 to a 958..... I don't think it would work.

Should be OK .... The 959 should share the SI from the 998 .... just make sure all are at the latest software.
